For a while now I’ve been thinking about the future of this blog and I will thing some more about it in the coming holidays.
This year was a good year. After a year of studying and landed my first Linux job where my practical knowledge skyrocketed tremendously.
But I also noticed that it became harder and harder to fill theses pages, as said before…
This will be my last post this year. As I see it now, I would very much like to continue this blog, but have to post less. I’m thinking about once every week. I would like to continue with quality posts that are not too long. I don’t want to bore people to death and I often like to hack my more complicated posts into smaller bits.
Knowledge wise I hope Linux will be my main objective in 2019. For my employer I had to divert to AWS and a couple of certifications, and although I was successful acquiring those, I don’t like it much and up till now it has been a bit of a waste of time. We do not have clients (yet) using AWS.
As for the short term I’ll be diving into some more bash scripting and starting out with python scripting. And for the long term… we’ll see what the future brings.
For now: happy holidays all and I’ll see you in 2019.
